To release the machine, the operator holds the switch slightly in 2nd stage. In the case of an emergency two reactions of the operator are possible: either he can release the switch (level 1) or he pushes it firmly through (step 3) In the case of 3-level enabling switches, both will result in immediate machine switch-off. The special design of the switching mechanism ensures that the contacts do not close when resetting from level 3 via level 2 to level 1. The new series of HE 3-level enabling switches from IDEC is available in various models.
